Designed with a superb platform to eliminate the need for a box spring (though it can be made in that style), this bed features ten wide slats that securely interlock with hardwood dowels on the side rails. Side rails are joined to the head and footboards with heavy-duty cast hangers, and no tools are required. For larger sizes, center-reinforced support attaches to the head and foot boards via drop-in hardware, providing sturdy underside access without a center leg.
